Here is another one of "those questions". Did they ever put a 400, two-barrel in a Judge?

Only the 72 convertible GTO Judges that sell on ebay could be 2 barrel cars.

Thats a lie! I bought a throttle bracket off of E-bay for a two barrel, and the guy swore that it was originally off of a Judge. Even called me a moron for not knowing what I was bidding on. I don't think he intentionally photographed it with the "2" facing down, do you?

no 2 bbl Judges but I have one of the few 400 2bbl 69 GTO's - only made 1200 it is a great driver has a low rear gear - lower compression engine and does great on the highway while the rest are in redline. Mine is also a Bench seat car which would cut the number in half - also no AC and only 35,000 miles. rare does not make it desireable but how many of these could be left.

Never a 2bbl Judge. The Judge option called for a factory Ram Air engine. Has anyone ever seen a 2bbl lower ram air pan?

Ram Air III was standard engine on the Judge.

I sort of had a 2bbl Judge:

My first 69 GTO (back in the early 80's) was a "Judged" (orange paint, decals and wing no ram air)GTO. Like an idiot I bought it without pulling the chrome after market air cleaner. So I get it home and to my dismay I see a 2 holer! To my further shame I then decode the engine block and discover I own a dreaded "no go" GTO, the very bottom rung of GTO society.

Funny thing now is that my favorite car is my 69 LeMans with a 350 2bbl and 2.56 gears. Smooth and easy gas sipping cruising and touring.

I miss my two barrel 69. It wasn't a judge of course, but it was a cool car. It was loaded with options and I got it from the original owner for $2,800. Expresso brown with a power bench seat, ac, ps, pdb, gauges, power windows, am fm, tilt wheel and more.

There is a certain freedom in having a lo-po engine. No octane issues, a guy wants to race you just smile and keep cruising.

Most of the 2bbl cars I have seen were bench seat cars. I am not sure about 69 but in 68 one of the big rental companies (Budget I think) bought a wack of 2bbl GTO's for their rental fleet, mostly convertibles.
