Default 62 8-lugs

Can anyone tell me if the flat edge on the fins on a 62 8-lug should have a machined look, or is a cast edge just like the rest of the drum?

The outer edges of the fins should have a machined look. If the wheels have been media blasted to clean them up, you can use a flat file to smooth out the fin edges and make them look like new again.

Here's a picture I grabbed off ebay a while back of an 8 lug wheel on a 12,000 mile car.
