69 270 if it's a production dated carb - maybe $1,500, SR $350
72 270 - no idea
72 273 with that date - $1,500-$2,000
SD SR, no idea.

I think $1500 for the 7029270 carb might be ambitious even for a production dated carb but I havent seen any sales history lately.

The others I don't know.

You should have started at 1,000 & you might have gotten it!

I've got three of them and paid more than that for each of them.

Dozens will work, only one will be correct.

Why do people "restore" these carbs incorrectly? The gold for the air doors is wrong. The gold screws are wrong...

Choke pulloff is wrong as well. No green phosphate on the throttle shafts. nothing restored other than the carb body finish on that Quadrajet. Just another "created" replica carb. Seems to be two sellers out of Phoenix area offering these on eBay.

as long as one knows thats what there getting, these $200 to $400 restamp RA Q-jets might work for the bottom swimmers. I just have a real hard time with the builders creating them. The problem is when folks buy them & move them up the food chain as real RA Quadrajets.

Will share this example, have a customer on the east coast who's real 1273 was sent off for recoloring & rebuilding by an individual in his city who was doing work on the car. A year after the car was finished, it was called to his attention by several knowledgeable folks that the throttle body did not have the right casting number. Closer examination proved the main body had been altered before it had been replated. Needless to say, the owner is fuming.

Default Ram Air Carbs

I thought I wiould introduce myself my name is Oliver new to forum I just bought a 9273 for a Judge I am restoring at the Pontiac Heaven meet in Phoenix it was marked $125.00 and he gave it to me with a pretty nice one only parking lite assembly for $100.00 but it was Sunday maybe he did not want to take home.

But I have been doing some research and they seem to be worth alot more than that. Hope to meet members here and learn more about this Judge and the correct path to take on the restoration
