Default 1962 Emergency Brake Cables

Can anyone post a picture of the clips/retainers that go in these holes that hold the emergency cable to the floor board braces as it moves up to the front of the car. I'm finally putting to this stage and cannot recall or find any part that will fit up in there. Or better yet, if anyone has the correct ones for sale- PM me. Thanks- Mark

Frame is satin black, the floor boards are red oxide.

K in the VIN,

There have been some resto pics that I have posted on other 62 threads in the past. It's Red/with white interior 62 GP 389/425A 4 spd -8lug Tri power car. this is the year it will get done.

Any luck with posting those pictures of the cable bracket?

Lightbulb 62 P/8 emergency brake cable related

OK, here are some pics that should help!

The last pic looks like the area that you originally posted...no brackets or clips there. The cable just rubs against the floor in that area.

I should add that this is a very original, Arlington-built car (VIN letter A).

Engine bay looks beautiful!!

Looks like you are truly restoring the car...in the spirit of that statement (in other words, I am trying to help, NOT bust your chops), can you comment on both the chromed breather cap (is that 425A-only??) and valve cover location/rotation choices?

not sure, when I took engine apart, that was orientation. I've seen the breathers both ways, black and chrome. Not sure what is correct. the car is a 60K mile car. the car has not been on the road since the late 70's, early 80's.

Thanks.

I don't want to dilute the thread with engine stuff - if I PM you my email, would you send me a pic of each side of the engine, kinda viewed from each front wheel?
