Default Rally 2 wheels

My 70 Judge is coming out of the paint shop next week. One of the things that I thought I should address are the Rally 2's ....I have a half dozen 15 inch wheels here that I am in the process of repainting....PITA but they look nice. The ones on the car look OK BUT I think they will be a little tired with the new Orbit Orange splash it's getting.

Question...Should I spray some clear on the wheels or not....please don't hiss at me.

Looks nice, IMO !! I’m not 100% but I don’t believe they are cleared from the factory, hopefully someone more experienced will confirm on 2 clear or not to clear especially if your building the car for a judged GTO show, I know all that stuff truely matters, as your probably aware of, just my 2 cents.

As far as I know, they were not clear coated from the factory.
That is such a righteous car, that I hope you seriously consider not clear coating them...absolutely love that OO color!

When I repaint rally II wheels I always like to clear them but I use a flattened clear not gloss... This gives some protection and also protects the edges of the where the 2 colors meet . Also makes cleaning the wheels easier imo? Brent
