Default My 1967 Bonneville is in a feature article in April's Smoke Signals

Thanks to Tim Dyes popular recent three part series "The Not So Good The Bad And Ugly" in Smoke Signals, a few of the cars submitted had some fantastic documented histories. They ran a full feature article on my Bonneville in the April issue which came out very well. I read the digital edition which came out a few days ago. I want to thank PY member Stuart once again for his help ten years ago for finding the family and companies contact information for me who worked on my car in 1967. Without his help none of the cars unique history would have ever been discovered, let alone be documented and, such an article couldn't not have been written.

Cool deal. Glad I could help.

edited to add: Wow, has it really been ten years? I didn't think it was that long ago. The calendar seems like it speeds up the older I get.

Great article. I just read it. I agree that car needs to be saved. There are 2 67 Bonneville Convertibles about 1 hour from me, one does not have a good trunk floor the other doubtful. Be glad to check and retrieve any other parts you might need. Bob

I saw the little blurb in an earlier issue. Thought it was cool. Thought that was what your post was on.
Just read the recent issue, it is pretty awesome.

I read the article on the POCI site (I always get my print copy very late). Really neat car, big job but would be awesome when complete. I don't see too many loaded Bonnie ragtops in 67, perhaps the GP ragtop that year was attracting all the "fatcats" who ordered the mega option cars?

Good point. It does seem all the 1967 GP's you see had way more options than the Bonnevilles I have seen for 1967.
