Default 1969 gto rear flex hose

1969 gto rear flex brake hose. Does anyone know if the hose end fits a certain way in the frame, so you can get the clip on the end of the hose? There’s a clip on the hex part for a stop, and little bit of hex in front before the clip groove, can’t seem to get clip against the frame so there’s room for clip.

It's going to be tight but should be. Make sure stripe on hose is straight (not twisted).
IIRC the frame hole is also hexed shaped to properly index the hose.

It's a pain, but it's doable. You have to make sure all the scale is completely off the side of the frame opposite where the clip is or the fitting won't go through far enough to get the clip on.

Thanks for the information 0g68 and data way. I broke the clip years ago and for forgot about it. At first I though the hole was round ,can’t see that good laying on the ground. I have it to where the hex is hitting the frame and not the clip on the hose. I had tightens the line before getting the clip in place ,if I loosen it and turn the hose it should go into the hex part then. Thanks again guys
