Default front rocker spot welds!?

I just realized the front bottom face of the rocker has spot welds!?

I think I'm seeing a row of five near the outter edge, and one inset closer to the lip where it's spot welded to the inner rocker;

Am I missing anything?

Hi amp welds there to hold inner, and the front torque box to rocker for strength.
