Any Ideas ?
I was moving a large tree limb with the frontend loader pallet forks and got hung up. Trying to get loose I musta got the forks in a bind and BANG I bent the frame. Any ideas how to straighten this mess. It needs to be pretty straight so the forks can slide past the bent area.

I'd probably be cutting a piece of hardwood to fit tight-tight inside the cannel, then big hammer the back side back in place.
Perfect ain't gonna happen with the metal stretched. You'ld have to cut/split it in the middle, hammer it back in place, then weld and grind the split. Clay PS If you think it might happen again, I'd give some serious thought to adding some reinforcement anywhere the forks dont touch on that side. That could be inside or outside the channel. I think I'd get a block of hard wood to fit in there tight and beat the bent section back down with a sledge hammer. Or if you have a giant adjustable wrench and a cheater bar you might be able to bend it back more controllably. Make a frame to go around it and a hydraulic jack. I can think of a bunch of ways to get it straight. Depends a lot on what you have at your disposal.

The forks slide on the rail but can't slide the right fork past the bend for a wider stance. Not much metal to grab on to either. I don't think these are Genuine JD forks ? Color doesn't match.
