Talking with my buddy last night we started talking about the fastest engine swap either of us have done. My best from pulling car in to shop and driving it out was 8 hrs. The only help was taking off hood and putting it back on (1969 gto) this was back in the early 90’s when we still did a lot of street racing. The swap included pulling engine changing heads,cam,lifters, oil pump, chain, ect to new shortblock and installing. Keep in mind this was a time period we didn’t care about engine being painted nice or any of that it was all about the go. So let’s hear your best times.
