Steve,
That is from the 1966 DELUXE Dealer Brochure.
The Lemans and the GTO both are depicted with 8-Lugs

GM was really hoping to get the 8-Lugs onto the A-Body platform but it was just to costly and as we all know never came to be.

There is a 1966 PMD promotional video showing all off the different cars and a 66 Lemans pulls up with 8 lugs on it.

It's the GTO. Wide Open World of Youth 1966.

Sorry for derailing this topic.

I need a steering wheel
the plastic is cracked and 1/3 has fallen off exposing the chrome steel ring that makes up the wheel.

I found a tilt column in the trunk but not changing at this point.

I also found one of it's fender skirts

If motor proves to be too stuck I'll pull it out for the winter, break it down and give it what it needs.
I want to drive it daily next spring.

I found a few sheet metal pieces locally.
I take it the Bonnie & Catalina shared sheetmetal?

They'll share some sheetmetal...assuming you're talking about two door hardtops, the front clip and doors will be the same, other than maybe some trim holes. From there back a Bonneville has a longer wheelbase so the rear quarters will be different. Not sure about the trunk lid or the rear panel between the taillights. Bumpers are the same.

I'm sure my rear quarters will need something so I will need a source?

Who knows, even if you get the crank to turn, it might still need to come out.....I am like your neighbor Wayne Carrini looking for a cool car, I like to see what's inside an ancient engine!!!

Haha! I'm thinking the same thing.
I'm sure it could use some TLC and new seals along with some engine paint.

If you just need patch panels you may be able to adapt sections from a Bonneville rear quarter, but check the contours first.

Bonneville rear 1/4 panels are longer than Catalina/GP.

An early one that has both bolt patterns?
