Default 1970 GTO FITMENT FOR 17" YEAR ONE WHEELS

A friend asked me to post a few questions about mounting 17" YEAR ONE Rally II Wheels on hios 70 GTO. Factory discs in the front, drums in the back. Factory 10 bolt 8.2 rear axle. He wants 17x8" on the front and 17x9" on the back.

ANYONE made this tire swap on a 70 GTO? Front Part Number: PRW178GUN Rear Part Number: PRW179GUN

If so how did it go with the Year One parts.

Tom V.

He should be able to run their 17x9s all around on a '70 GTO.

Scarebird, Looks great. Could you be a little more specific such as what backspace and what tire size? Thanks,Paul

I think they only come in one backspace dimension for the 17x8 and a different backspace for the 17x9. I don't think there are other options.
