Default Indian Uprising, Chicago area

Next weekend, Aug. 6, 7, 8 at Crystal Lake, Illinois. New venue. Expecting 600+ cars on Saturday. The new venue, Holiday Inn Chicago Nw Crystal Lk Conv Ctr. looks very nice. Just renovated.
Guess I'll have to check it out. I'll be with an Iris 65. Please stop by and say HI. See you there..

I plan on being there, the HI parking lot is big but 600 cars seems like at least 300 more than possible.

I was just there at the Holiday Inn, doesn't have that lawn area like Pheasant Run did on the side but there's a huge dude and rear parking lot area. Maybe they're gonna use the lawn??

I was wondering the same thing. There is allot of grass on the north side of the building but think there is a pretty good slope. We can always take over Homedepot

I like the new venue for the show. There are some tweaks that need to be made such as Civics and Equnoxs mixed in with the show cars. Other than that I give it a thumbs up.

Yes, Peasant Run in St Charles was the old location.
I too liked this new venue. The large monster Oaks gave plenty of shade when one needed a retreat from the sun. Sorry the lobby bar is limited and only Miller products served outside. But we can work on that or smuggle in finer spirits next year.
Good people make for good times. Thanks to all that made it possible.

Good Show. Location is fine. Suggestion: find a different area for trailer parking. Like show parking area bad ideal to mix regular cars with trailers parking and show cars

Thanks Cruising Tigers , we enjoyed ourselves

Good show! Many nice cars, nice location, good restaurants in the area, nice people. Sadly, the Holiday Inn is suffering from lack of employees in the restaurant, so eating there was not possible.

Off site trailer parking would be a good idea.
