Default 1970 grand prix power trunk release

I want to add a power trunk release to my 70 grand prix. Anybody got a picture of where the button goes?

I have a '69 with factory power trunk release. The button is in the console, front part, lower center. I will try to post a pic tomorrow. If your car has bench seat, I have no idea.

I would imagine a bench car would have it in the glove box. GP's without a console got a dash glove box.

Def in the glovebox on bench seat GP's. The dark turquoise/green flat style trunk release buttons first showed up for '70 model Pontiacs & that is what I'd expect for a button. '69's used the tall "bubble" style black button.

Default 69-72 GP Pwr Trunk Button Location

Here's a few pics of a 72 GP console box with the factory Pwr Trunk Button hole in it. The dimension from the bottom of box to edge of hole is 1.5" if can't see in pic. So the hole is .75" Diameter and it's approx. .6" from edge of hole to side of box and 1.5" from edge of hole to bottom of box. Hope this helps.

I've used those plastic nuts that protect the button on the GP on my GTO power trunks to avoid accidental trunk opening when rummaging in the glovebox for an 8 track.
