Default Teal Turquoise ‘65

Nice GTO that needs a good home.

It’s an Original family owned car that may be for sale soon.

Right quarter panel needs some work, but this car should clean up nice.

Mostly Original Teal paint with Soft Ray - All Windows is a nice combination.

Hi Kevin,

I’m with you ….. an “Honest” GTO.

So many of these Original cars have had their motors pumped, transmission changed, disc brakes added. It’s sad.

It’s all about Preserving History with me.

Take care, Chris.

Default Really ^^^^^

Sure, let’s part out an Original family owned ‘65 GTO with documentation.

Or, maybe just Restomod like so many on this site tend to do.

How about an LS engine, Easter Egg paintjob, and Boyd Coddington Billet 24" wheels?
Strip the heart and soul right out of it, and turn it into a polished turd that will be trendy until 2023. Excellent!!

I'm a purist to an over-the-top degree, but it's what I enjoy and where my mind set is. Even the smallest factory details, whether good or not, I can't stand to change because it's part of the character that it was assembled with, so it stays.

My car buddies politely tease me that my automotive preferences are an "acquired taste".

Of course I do appreciate the talent and perfection that restored cars have and I can look at them all day at the national's or whatever event, they are fantastic.

Don't even get me started on whitewalls and hubcaps. :--)

Paint it a Lexus Red color and put in the interior from a 2000's Cadillac - HA!

Soo, if one was to start saving his "pennies" what is a ballpark figure on how many "pennies" would be needed.
