I love FB, I found a bunch of friends from my youth. Since I grew up near the Atlanta airport and a Army base, a lot of people moved away, some were airline pilot kids and Army brats.
The Pontiac groups are great on FB, it has been great for buying and selling cars and parts. My name on FB is Russ Carmolingo.

Yes I do like facebook. The video's of all types of stuff can keep you amused for hours.
I was not hiding my name, Sometimes some street race stuff gets ugly, and I did not want all my family and friends to see or comment on it. Car burn outs, racing.... I coach my sons soccer team, did not want the parents to think I am a nut.
Facebook- Jeff Pontiac my name is Jeff Skula, in the end my wife and kids are on there, you get connected anyway.
Some are missing out on some funny stuff on there, and yes, old friends from grade school too!

/\ that right there is one aspect of what I alluded to...

The best part about the site is being able to reconnect with old friends;
But after a while of "being entertained for hours", do you ever think about time wasted?

I have.

It has its uses. I mostly use it to network and buy\sell parts that no one on the forums wants.

And Chris @ Midwest Connection seems like a decent guy, never heard a bad thing from him or about him.

I have always been JEFF HAMLIN here and FB.
But I'm known as SPRINT 6 and GTO Jr. most other places.

Bought my Bandit car from John Kraft on Facebook, with references from members here and Trans AM Country. I enjoy FB, careful who I friend, and what I post. Never had problems with it. I play games on it when I’m bored.

Mitch Kunath.

Tons and tons of Pontiac stuff. I have had excellent results buying and selling there. Just sold a 280ZX off to Europe.

I am Bills Auto Works on here & every other forum I am on as I do not believe in hiding behind aliases.

I am Bill Squires on FB. I have been on there for 3 years, ever since I almost missed my class reunion because FB was the only place anyone advertised it on. As much as I don't really like social media, I have to admit I liked being able to reconnect with friends from school & now see a large group of them every couple of months @ a bar or restaurant.

God bless
Bill

PY: poncho-mike
FB: Mike Carnes

I set up a Facebook userid several years back when I was contacted by some former classmates about a class reunion. Unfortuntely, about 95% of the posts were about broken hearts, former classmates death or illnesses, non-stop religious and political messages, dog and cat rescue, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love animals and have a rescue Boxer and two cats that were destined for the animal shelter if they didn't find a home quickly. But I really didn't want to read page after page of this stuff, it was so depressing. I joined a couple of sub-groups for Pontiac and Firebirds, and only monitor those.

I refuse to open a Facebook account, and my wife won’t let me and I agree, I would turn into one of those people who cry about being victimized by family members and one that sits behind my electronics telling those how I really feel, lol. I sit back and laugh from my wife’s Facebook, you want to see family’s tear themselves apart , get a Facebook account, I don’t have to get involved , there doing it on there own, lmao. People say and post to much personal info in these social media sites, you want to know what I’m doing call or drive your happy a$$ over, lmao

I am Chris Powers on FB. I run the Pontiac Midwest Connection. Since this is my first day on this forum. I can assure you, I have never been banned from here. Those that said nice things about our page. Thank you, we truly try to keep it civil and relevant.

As some of you know I am Juan Dietz on FB. ( I used to collect DIETZ Lanterns , still have many. Juan Valdez is from Columbia and sells coffee beans! https://www.juanvaldezcafe.com/en-us...is-is-for-you/ ... At the time it was best to Not use any Real ID.
I get feeds from many places, and , like here, I find a subject thread gets OFF subject just as fast there!
