Default Deloris O' Riordan.

One of the great things about living in a city with a long, deep history in alternative music (way before it was called that) is to attend an "early adopter" type concert where the rising star was playing a small gig. In the late '80's, I got to see the Cranberries in front of stage that wasn't even elevated. I was a kid back then, and she was younger than me. Needless to say, when they came back they played a much larger venue.
RIP Deloris.

That's so sad. I have some of her music on my youtube playlist out in the garage.

"When you're gone" was a big mainstream hit. She was purportedly one of the richest women in the UK, at least at one point. She actually lived just up the road from here for quite a while.

Always sad when someone so young passes away. That being said, I was never a fan of her quirky song styling..

Aw man, that's a major bummer.
I had a couple Cranberries CDs but hadn't followed them since the 90s. About six weeks ago, I had a hankering for some of their music and spent a couple hours watching various youtube renditions of Dreams and Linger. Had a mad crush on Delores and I still swoon like a little puppie when I watch her sing and play a Gretch.

I'm not much for 90s music in general but the Cranberries and Oasis were as good as it gets for my money.

Saw this feisty Irish chic in concert. Amazing pipes.

Me neither, could only listen to the Cranberries in small doses. Wife is a big fan, though.
