Default WTB 65 or 66 GTO Convertible project car

Looking for a 65 or 66 GTO ragtop to bring back to life. Cant afford the nice ones so looking for a old rust bucket or something to work on. A old one peice at a time shell or whatever. Was saving for a ready to drive one but had to take a early retirement and it ate up my savings so now have to build one from scratch. Sort of my retirement project to go with my hardtop. Thanks!

My dad might sell this - thinning out his collection
needs full restoration, but a running 455/4spd/3:55 posi '66 GTO convertible - could probably drive it home

I don't think he's decided on a price yet, or i'd just tell ya - just decided to sell it a few days ago

Default couple cars

Heres one on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=012

It has some work done so price maybe high, but will save you some. Dont knw his reserve but it prob will not sell ... Contact him and establish communication and you maybe able to work a deal, if he dosent sell. Its also somewhat close to Louisville. Its a great color combo for 65 vert Black with black interior and white top NICE

Thanks for the heads up on the 66, saw the one on ebay and its already up to 6600 in the first day and reserve not hit, Looks like the Price is going to be way up there. That or the seller is having it bumped up. Would be a nice car, color combo is awesome.
Emailed on the 66 and have pics now, pretty rough and low option car over a 1,000 miles away. Wish I knew a cheap way to get cars hauled in..........!
Thanks!!!!!!

Ouch, just for info, the 66 looks to be folding in half with frame rusted into and center collapsed but the guy is hiding it and dodges the question. Maybe a 800 or 1,000 dollar car but no where near 2700.
Search continues.........................
