Hey, I'd rather be mistaken for a kid taking a picture of Pops GTO then my car being mistaken for Grandmas GrandAm. At least that's what my son said when we went to look at the 04 "GTO " : "Look Dad, it's just like Grammys' car"!!!!

I personally don't dislike the Monaro as a Monaro. It doesn't really do anything for me but for what it is it's ok. I just don't like it as a GTO. Lutz must have been smoking a joint or something and thought it was 1974 again : Tagging the butt ugly Ventura as a GTO thinking it would sell. That same erroneous philosophy has been used with the GM Monaro.

Exactly.....it is not a legend, it is a Monaro that should try and make it's own legend if it can....

Obviously, Goathead, you need to go to the Holden website and check out the history of the Monaro. In another post I instructed whatza monaro?? to do the same. Once you have done that, then maybe you will be informed enough to make comments about the '04 GTO.

So thats the key. Bone up Danny. "Monaro IS GTO Dumb A..!" says what a lot of folks think about the car. Great username.

Actually the the '74 outsold both '72 and '73 model years! Now go get your toy Vette and climb on mommie's knee for a little....
