engine install with headers on?
has any one installed a engine with the headers already bolted to the heads? I HAVE PASSENGER SIDE INNER FENDER ALREADY OUT AND A/C SYSTEM REMOVED/REPLACED WITH A AMERICAN GRAFFITTI A/C DELETE SYSTEM.

Not gonna happen. Unbolt the headers and lay them in the approx location in the engine compartment. Then drop in the engine.
good luck.

Just dont drop the engine on the hedders!,
I dont know what brand you have but D port Hedmans are not to bad to snake up through the bottom especially if the engine is rased up before it is installed.

I tried installing a 455 into a 79 firebird subframe out of the car and it wouldn't work. The headers were the hooker D-ports, and they hit on the rear/lower a-arm mounts.

Thanks everyone, I won't waste time or possible damage to car/headers,had HO tri-y's before major pain in azz to get bolts tight, now have hooker comps with slightly bigger primaries just thought it looked like it would go, glad I asked first!
