All the glass is in the car. All the seats are in the car as well. So I took it for a test drive on Sunday and the Car runs great I don't like the clutch noise from the centerforse weights at idle but I'm not taking it out for now. Need to finish a few more things like stripes and trunk lock and ... and it will be ready for the wife to take it down the track. Whoooo It's going to be a great summer.

Well I think my daily driver is coming together rather nicely . It's not a show car but I'm sure proud of her. Thanks for looking and see you on the streets in Columbus, In at the GTOAA Nat's. July 7-11

Well I'm real happy with how the car did this weekend. Evan Freese with his 70 Orbit car and my son Bryan, grandson Weston and I got to drive our car’s to Norwalk, OH. from Batesville, In. this past weekend to the Ames Tri Power National. We put some 550 miles on the judge without any issues and we got around 13 miles to the gal. We also got lots of looks while driving down the highway’s and on the 2 lane roads. Whenever we stopped to eat or get gas it took a little longer to listen to the stories and the people just wanting to see the cars. We created lots of great memories for the boys and I. Bryan was able to get the car to run a 13.4 at 105 mph with just coming up to the line and easing into it. No burnout no timing changes just unloading the trunk and taking to the line. We ran the car 3 times and the first run was 13.7 then a 13.6 and then the 13.4 so we decided to quite while we was ahead of the game. Thanks to my son Bryan and Weston Hooten. My great friends the Freese’s Paul, Kyle, Evan, Dale, Alex, The Pulskamp’s Doug, Will and Luke let’s not forget the Stambaugh Eric, Sheila, Jeff and Logan for a great time the we all had at the Ames Tri Power National. Thanks to all the people that put on this event and all the people that came buy the pits to say hello.

Were you on I-275 going east on last Thursday?

If so, my son saw you guys around the Colerain exit (they were going west) and couldn't wait to tell me he saw "my" car.

I just got my car back from the builder about a month ago, and it's a CR 69 (non-judge though), and my oldest is still probably more excited about it than I am.

That is great that your son is so excited about your car. He is the next generation to keep it going. Be grateful that he likes the car and what a way to spend time with him.

My youngest( AJ he is 21) just called me today and asked if he could take the car out for a drive and of course I said yes. Drive these cars and have fun with the kids and let other people see you driving your cars.
Well maybe I will see you at a show or just driving around.

Great story Hooch. It was nice getting to know you at the GTO Nationals. I would of loved to have joined you on this cruise to Norwalk. I was suppose to be in Italy with my wife and nephew this last weekend. My passport expires in November of this year so I could not go. I did hit a local show in Noblesville. Mostly Vettes though. Hope to see you in New Castle next month.

I didn't realize that it was so close. I work about 2 miles from there.
Looking at the address on mapquest, it looks like it's right near the big Mathews 25 Ministries building? I many have to cruise on by some night.

My oldest is also names AJ.

Default road trips

I have been enjoying the judge as much as I can. Took trips to New Castle, In , Bloomington, IN for a wedding and Edgewater Raceway in OH for the muscle car show and drags. I hate to see it getting cooler around here because I don't want to put the car up for the winter. 155 more days till spring. March 20th,2016

Basically no winter here!

May get 1 or 2 days with cool temps, but could still drive in shorts.
