Get ahold of Old Goat 67 and talk to him. He went thru the same but it was due to cancer that he lost his wife. I had met her back in 2011 and she was the kindest, sweetest lady I've ever met. If someone can talk to you and help you stay sane, Charles can. I kind of helped him a bit, but he pulled himself thru it all. And now he's just plain nuts. LOL

Or give Todd a call. You can't sit on the couch and stew over it. Talk to your kids, anyone. They'll all listen. You are not alone.

I'm new around here and I don't know anyone very well yet, but I do know the incredible pain you're feeling and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I would say that I hope you get through it soon, but I know that we never really do. It's always there, but it get's a little easier. Just remember that she would want you to carry on.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Bob. At the end of the day, the people in your life mean far more than anything else. I hope that you are able to get back to your hobbies at some point because that will help you push through the grief. You'll never get over it but I hope you are soon able to continue in your life journey with with some level of comfort.

Again thank you one and all. One friend had me laughing today. Still weepy. Got viewing, mass-funeral, cemetery arrangements made. Had a good female friend (she will be lost too as my wife would say she is a sister she never had)help me pick out clothes and jewelry. It's better today dr got me something to help me sleep. I'm not eating as much as usual. Reached out to a bereavement group. Also our local diocesan bishop,Larry Kulik called me today. He had is Bonneville at POCI and Norwalk where I talked with him. So thank you guys and girls, hug your family now, dont wait, you never know!!

Bob, some of your best support will come from widowers.

One thing to remember is that you and your bride fulfilled the promise of, "till death do us part".

I just got awake after sleeping for 4hrs(dr gave me minor sedative) the 'quiet' without her noise is something I'm missing, almost scary. Can I handle this? Right now I can but I'm scared. She took care of me when I had minor sickness, sinus infections, stomach ailments. What is in store for me? Never liked to be totally alone. I have support from friends locally that knew us and worked with my wife. One woman when i told her went into histerics, crying no,no. The creator has a plan I know , he wouldn't just leave me ,us alone he has something else. I'm missing her so. Please hug your families now no matter what the problems. Our 2 cats Mr Boots and Sneakers know something . I'm sorry for being so weepy but missing her so that I never knew before. This is happening to me.Thank you for listening. There are so many with more serious medical issues suffering I know. God Bless you all .

The early morning has been the worst,3am silence, darkness,I start shaking, A little over a day, the suddenness of this event like being hit with a 'ton of bricks'.I've called crisis hotline locally just to talk and to listen to someone. I crave her holding my hand ,when we each hand health issues in the past. I sorry for being so weak.i thought I was the rock. Sharing this event with all of you. I say prayers for all of you. Thank you. I just havent found the peace yet,I'm scared, because of the loneliness and no family.
Viewing is this Sunday,Hartman Graziano Funeral Home,1500 Ligonier,St, Latrobe. Times 2-4 and 7-9. She was a donor so hopefully there will others who will benefit.

Sorry to read about this Bob. I went through the same thing with my big brother a couple years ago. Losing him so suddenly, took the wind out of my sails. I wish I knew what to say that would help. Be strong, and savor the memories. Godspeed.
