Default 1969 Trans Am Convertible

Saw this car today and thought I would share it. 1 of 9 lol. Probably a nice clone? Very nice car! I would not mind owning it.

1 of a whole lot more 69 Trans Am's out there. I see it as a compliment to a beautiful factory car. Pontiac nailed it with this F-body. Clone or otherwise.

To me the stripes always looked like a last minute thing put on by the intern.

Yes, spaced and proportioned wrong.
I've gotten "used to it" over the years, but I know when I first saw a '69 T/A I thought the stripes were really odd.

The intern was probably told, "whatever you do, just don't copy the Camaro"...

Is it just my eyes or is that repro parchment way to goldfish? See that issue a lot lately, wonder which manufacturer they are. Especially noticeable on a white car.

I had a Van Nuys coupe that didn't have D80 on the tag... had D180.

And as I recall, the eight 23679 TA VINs were not exactly a state secret. Don't need PHS if you know them.

The Van Nuys / L.A. cars don’t have a D80 code. The D180 is a build sequence number.
