Prayers for you and your family. As noted previous very nice post of your wife and your life with her. I am sure she is in the Lords hands.

Thank you for the nice things you have said about Julie. I take your thoughts and prayers to heart. I read each reply and while thinking of the many past interactions I've had with many of you, it warmed me. I also truly appreciate the folks I have never talked to that offer a kind word.
Thanks also for telling me about your similar experiences. Tonight I truly don't know how to get through this, but it helps a lot to know others like me have..

What hurts is that we were starting "Our next adventure" as she called it. And she was taken before we really could enjoy it.
Thanks again.

No words to make it better. She surely would of wanted you to put one foot in front of the other and enjoy your life. Prayers it gets easier to accept.

Very sorry to hear about Julie.

Great pictures and memories you shared in her honour. Cherish those memories and I too believe Julie would want you in the new shop spending time with another passion, the Pontiac hobby.

Take care and enjoy time with your family.

I agree, and add my condolences. You two had an amazing life and you still have all the wonderful memories. Lost my mom last month and am dealing with loss as well. Hang in there.

James, you have my heartfelt condolences. As hard as it might be, I think you should take great comfort knowing that your wife was enjoying the next adventure. She was able to see her grandchildren come down that hillside to visit! I'm sure that was priceless in her heart. She was able to see you attain the shop that she wanted for you. And probably hundreds of other small events brought her joy that you might not realize.

You did what you could to make her dreams came true. That is huge. The rest is up to God.

James, Very sorry to hear of your wife's passing, (after 10 years of a noble fight).
She obviously was a very strong person. You picked a good one and many years and memories were shared with her.

So sorry for your loss, take the time to grieve, and then do the things that she would have wanted you to do, it will keep her memory alive. Take care.

Oh no! I’m so sorry James. Just drove the Firebird for the first time in 5 or 6 years to see you guys and learned you sold.

Wish I could have caught you today.

My deepest condolences.

Thank you Ian. She always got a kick out of your visits. A loud car and long talks about parts and upgrades..
Yes, we made the decision to sell and move rather quickly so we could get our next adventure started....

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm still lost..
I walk around the house without any idea what to do..

We had a celebration of her life here and it was so heartwarming to see almost 100 people come over 2 hours from where we used to live and from farther away... People we hadn't seen in decades. It was also... heartbreaking for me.

But just remember, it was people that cared not only about your wife but about you. If I passed or my wife passed I'd be blown away with that many people showing up. It shows you meant a lot to every one of those folks.

You mourn your way. That's the only way. It will be a long journey and a tough one. just stay close with your best friends and family.
