The original soundtrack was a million times better. Sounds like they used a clapped out dump truck for the T/A sound file.

I've seen this GTO at Musclepalooza. It's amazing. I've seen a number of Paul Menin's cars... everyone of them have been absolutely stunning. As always Nap your T/A is mighty fine too.

Keith,

How are you and things in Saratoga? Hopefully, very good.

Yeah, this GTO is really nice. Wish I had the money to get it when it was on BAT.

I really liked this show I went to on Sunday. Saw a lot of great cars and had good conversations with the owners.

Later,

Jim

Jim,

I'm doing well and all is good Sir. Hope you are doing well also. If the weather is good on Saturday I'll meet up with the local Pontiac club for a little Cars and Coffee. Maybe do a show or two before the snow flies.

The Paint Scheme on this Bobcat is similar to a same year Hurst Olds. Think the Olds has a Wing though.

Who owns that car now? I was talking to the owner at the fly in but didn’t catch his name etc. He ran off to hear the show results
Wanted to take a better look at the car.

I'm reading all these post and im asking myself. Do these guys know something I dont? This is not a ram air car and is certainly not a bobcat. Its not even a real meridian turquoise car. What am I missing. This is a clone made from a run of the mill gto.
Nice looking car but whats with the hoopla? Lol

That car is really butchered under the hood. Crazy. How much Hzp do you get by drilling holes in the aircleaner. Unreal.

Are we confusing two different vehicles? There have been several of these knock off paint schemes over the years.

Some people don't get it. Whether a car is a clone or not, if it is done right, as the GTO is, and is not presented at a show or being sold as the real thing... Who cares. Enjoy it.

I have a 1970 GTO that was cloned into a Judge and love it. I don't hold it out as the real thing and enjoy it.

There is a person who posted that the under hood of my '78 TA is butchered. The holes serve a purpose so my car can idle.

The car is equipped with a FAST EZ 2.0 EFI system. The instructions require the shaker to be open to supply air to the EFI. The shaker is functional on my '78. Therefore, the flap is closed at idle and will not allow the engine to idle. This required the holes in the drop base unit which was necessary to accommodate the shaker because the intake manifold is an Edelbrock RPM Performer. By the way, the EFI works really good.

The holes give me a lot of power...590HP @5500 and 625TQ @4,000 from a 461 stroker. Thank you very much.......
