Looking good - will you be doing insulation/Dynamat through the entire interior? Vintage Air recommend it.

yes I have 80 pounds of "second skin" which is like dynamat, and also a bunch of insulation to put on the firewall and transmission tunnel

Not sure, but it would seriously be like an inch deep

Drooling every time I read this. Love the color. Thank you for sharing your build and the great detailed pictures!

Getting ready to start my 64 Catalina but mine will be a very budget minded one.

The ring and boot for your shifter porch where did you get that from?

Rear seat back is reinstalled

Main carpets for floor and rear tub are being sewn right now. Should be done monday or tuesday. Car is 99% done! Looks like I will be able to attend both shows I have planned in early June!

Got my vintage Pontiac gauge pod installed, with some modern gauges. I think it looks amazing! I will eventually pull the gauge pod off and paint it black to match the dash.

So I picked the car up today. It starts, drives, stops etc just as I had hoped. It cruises so nice! The coilover suspension is firm yet not bone jarringly rough. I love it!

I brought the car to my detailer for a full paint correction, and ceramic sealant. Look at the sneak peak I got...this car is going to look amazing when done!

I take it to a show next week. When I return, I will get the windows tinted and some advertisement placed on the car. Then its off to another show! Two years in the making

I like the pic showing the Safari larger than the school bus, and the plate that reads "little wagon".

Been awhile since my last update...I've been showing this car the last few weeks

The car is finally home in my garage next to my 800HP 3rdgen lol

Next day I loaded up and head south the Pigeon Forge, TN for the annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge charity car show for St. Judes

This cover is for a VAN lol

Here my car is being filmed, and I will be interviewed to be on the Lokar Car show airing in August

At this show I won third place out of all Modified Pontiacs, and won Peoples Choice out of about 250 cars!

Window tint was installed after I got back from the show

The next week I loaded back up, and this time headed back home to Syracuse, NY for the annual Six Nations Pontiac Club show. Its held at the Bill Rapp dealership, where I test drove my first new Pontiac when I was 16. It was a 1998 Medium Blue Metallic WS6 Trans Am. God I loved that car! Couldn't afford it though

This show I wont first place in Modified Pontiacs and Longest Distance Travelled

The car is probably 95% Done. It runs great. I've purchased a 4 core radiator to install. It runs about 210 with the AC on, and I'd like it a little cooler. I've also decided to install a Richmond 5 speed. I need a steeper first gear to get this boat moving, and I'd love an extra highway gear. I probably won't have any updates for awhile. I hope you guys liked following this build....it was a fun one!

Thanks for the update. The only thing I can see you need to do is get rid of the trailer, and drive that thing to the shows.
