Finally got around to signing up for collector car insurance after my regular home-auto insurance policy saw a price bump. I had to send these to confirm value and for their files. I ended up saving $150 per year on the Tempest.

Talking HUSTON, WE HAVE IGNITION!

First let me say Thanks to all who assited with my request & questions.

It has been long overdue and we still have a ways to go, but the 'ol Tempest has been fired up. She still needs some tweeks but has come a long way since coming back home

Man, that is so cool! Is that the new crossover pipe from Ames? Mine just arrived, but I haven't replaced the old one just yet.

Man you nailed it, The car just looks fantastic.
I think you captured the era of the car.
And to think I almost past on that color for
my Tempest. Sure glad I got to see yours
before I changed my mine on the color for mine.

After saving for a couple of years (and selling off some of my vintage racing parts), I got the original steering wheel restored. Drove the car to the SoCal Inliners get together last weekend.

Thanks! The price was pretty painful...I don't spend that much on freshening the funny car engine. Wow! Three in one year? I have to admit it's a pretty nice job considering the wheel only had a couple of 1-inch chunks of the clear left barely attached to the inner rim when I shipped it to him.
