4 barrel for 230 block. Will both 230 and 250 fit 230 block?

I might suggest a 250 4bbl head on the 230 for a slight compression drop unless you plan on running race gas. I should have one.
Fred Simmons in MI has a pretty fresh 230 4bbl head I believe, let me see what I have around...

Hi I have two 250 single barrel heads and I need to thin out my collection of parts. I also have a cam tower and a Lopo cam with a small flat spot on one lobe. I don’t know what they are worth, but I wouldn’t hold up any one who might want them. I also have a complete power steering conversion for a Firebird sprint. ( steering box , pump hoses and mounting bracket that fits an OHC Sprint.) I also have manual steering box for a ‘fbird sprint

Will 4 barrel manifolds bolt up to 1 barrel head? What are differences other than springs and can I get springs equivalent to the double 4 barrel springs? Where are you located and what is the price? Can you ship?

Any year monifolds 1 or 4 bbl will bolt up to any year head. The difference between a 1bbl & 4bbl head is limited to the the size of the combustion chamber (to get the wanted compression ratio 9.0 or 10.25) The 1bbl heads have larger chambers machined into them to lower the engines compression ratio.
The different hieght of the chambers require different length valves. And then the valve seat area is ground for the differnt valve springs installed for a 1bbl or 4bbl head. There are also some minor differences like the size of the coolant sensor hole machined for either an idiot light or a temp sender. But short story you can bolt any type of manifold to any type of OHC-6 head. Now there are some year manifolds that will not work with other years if mixed up. But that is another question.

Power steering
Would you consider $100 ? The whole set up has less than 10,000 miles on it and it was all new stuff at the time I installed it. The pump leaks as I put new pump in an older housing. You would pay shipping or pick it up. I live in Chapin right outside of Columbia, SC. I would send pictures if I could figure it out.
