Can someone tell me if anyone makes new rear seat frames for a 1970 GTO convertible. Thanks in advance

Is yours missing or damaged?

I was able to nearly rebuild my front bench seat.

Default Rear seat

Hi, thanks for the response. Mine is not missing, but in pretty bad shape. i suppose i can sand blast them and paint the frames, but i was looking for a rear seat in a little bit better shape them what i got. To be honest the springs don't look like they would give much support to the rear passengers. im not sure how much the new buns would help

Look for my post in this section on my bench seat. Not sure if the old photobucket pics will show or not but my front bench seat had sat out in the elements for several years and some of the frame/springs was completely gone from rust.

It all seemed pretty intimidating at first but ended up not being bad at all. I had to bend up some new boarder wires, lay down new sino wires.

It can be tricky to know how much support you need. Installing a tie wire across the springs never hurts and will make all the spring work together. Bending up some helper springs on the sides can help too. Sitting on the bare springs is a terrible measure as you will add a lot support with new foam and covers.

This site is also a great resource.
