Default 69 bird what’s this wire

Orange heavy guage, ac car I pulled dash back to “fox radio” and install new speedo cable
This wire is left side just behind cluster

That wire attaches to the middle position of the horn relay on the firewall.

Horn works and it’s on the interior side of the firewall

I think it is an accessory wire for defroster or power top switch etc if the car had that ordered and was in the dash

Check and see if it's 12v, switched, or on all the time, or a wire that gets power when the interior light is on. looks like it may be a courtesy light wire
