Default Finished paintjob with Wicked Colors water based paint

After countless hours of bodywork and sanding, it's finally in its new color. It turned out super well considering it was done in my dirty shop in a makeshift temporary spray booth.

Pearl blue with a white flake roof.

Createx is right near me and I know the owner went to high school w him. Good guy. They still don’t have an isocyanate free clear that’s good though do they? Isocyanates are very dangerous. Their base coat is isocyanate free according to them .

BTW the car looks great . Hard to see metal flake in the garage needs sun. My airplane is metal flake vinyl wrap like that.

What did you use for a clear? Or did you mix the color into clear?

Nice. I like seeing cars guys paint themselves. With that, we can live with imperfections if they show up.

They do produce a iso free waterborne clear, but it does not withstand the outdoor elements too well from what I understand. It is loved by model makers, and hobbyists though.

This is my 3rd full paint using their products and I just adore it.

The roof is amazing in the sun, however my camera just can't seem to catch it.

Your plane is gorgeous! Great minds eh?

It can be top coated with any clear. I used a generic 4k clear from my local auto paint supplier.
