Default 70 Gto AC vent door missing piece.

I'm trying to locate the elbow that's stapled and mounting ring for the passenger side ac vent mechanism.

I have no clue what it's called so I can't search it up. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm hoping I don't need to buy the entire vent setup and can just get the 2 pieces I need.

Thanks!

One of what? The entire unit or the elbow and mounting ring?

I still would like to find out what the technical name is for future reference to this part.

I am attempting to see if I can buy the elbow and ring alone. I am NOT looking to buy the entire assembly. If I am stuck buying the entire assembly they are easily available from multiple sources.

I would think I can just buy the pieces I need but honestly I don't know what to call it in a search bar.

I am not sure why I didn't get notified about your reply by my email. I am just seeing your message now.

I ended up finding the missing pieces still attached in the car. It seems somebody ripped out the vent door assembly and the elbow and ring were still in the kick panel cavity.

It just damaged where the staples were. An easy fix. I just have to test my vacuum actuator now.

Do you know if the vacuum actuator on your unit works? I'm not very sure how to test the 2 different ports

I tested my vacuum actuator and it is working. I appreciate your help and am glad I found the elbow and ring still attached in my car.

I will work on removing it from the kickpanel area and see what condition it's in.

If it's unusable I will message you about buying yours.

I finally got around to removing the inner fender and ac box. I removed the 3 screws and took the elbow out. Everything is in working condition.
