My Sprint Firebird was like that, 4bbl, 4spd, lots of nice options like gauges, console stereo, 8 track etc but manual steering and brakes. I just gave in myself, rounded up a correct OHC power steering set up and a power disc brake set up (which was identical with the six or a V8). Should have done it ten years ago. Car is a joy to drive now. Hardest thing to find was the pitman arm, it is unique to 69 Firebirds with power steering, not shared with manual steering or any other model year or model. It is not reproduced or in the aftermarket. I got lucky and found a complete steering set up from a 69. I see those pitman arms used on eBay for $400 plus

Yeah, I just recently found the correct pitman arm. Guy on Facebook Marketplace gave me a great deal on it,
