Default ignition lock help

Wondering if anyone has ran into this one. The ignition key will not go in all the way and thus will not turn and thus I cannot get the key lock out of the ignition or start the car.

The ignition switch is a a NOS piece I bought a few years ago, so I would really like to get the lock cylinder out.

Speaking of witch, there are two holes that I would put the paper clip in. Anyone know which one or both? I guess it doesn't matter if I can't key the key all the way in. Damit.!

UPDATE:

I got it. I kept working the tumblers up and down with the paper clip and the key in/out then it finally went. I can turn the lock and it all seems to be working.

I blame the wife. I think she shoved the wrong key in there.
