Default Jack parts...trunk junk...

Found these parts in a 61 trunk.....

Think the jacks and parts may be original...but what about the tire/wheel cover?

Question Convertibles only?????

I was under the impression for 1965 and 1966 Big cars, (maybe earlier and later models too?), only the Convertibles used that cover as the spare could not lay up on an angle due the the roof hitting it if folded down.

So the spare laid flat in the trunk and that cover was used.

I know squat about earlier models than '65 so maybe that cover was correct for earlier hard roof cars???

No idea if any of that is actually correct??? Anyone else know for sure.
