Hood hinge beyond bending back?
Wondering if there’s any saving this hood hinge. Hood still has great alignment lol. Not sure how, but it does. Just pull it and bend it back?

You can try to straighten it but most likely will happen again. The rivets are probably binding and holes are out of round. Try these guys https://www.hoodhingerepair.com/about/

I'm guessing you're done with that one. Once it starts, there's no going back. They only sell them in pairs new, but there are guys with parts here that may sell one.

It bent for a reason, that's only a part result of the damage.

I believe it bent due to me not lubricating the pivot points enough. I always rock the hood back and forth (and push backwards toward the windshield) to try and get them started when closing the hood. Is that not the way to start closing it?

Rocking helps get sticky hinges to close ... but the rocking also loosens up the rivets, wears the joint out. Good oiled hinge should just push back and down pretty easily.
