I had a new set of duals put on the wagon. Car had the factory 2" duals with some lame OEM mufflers on it. Pipe was in pretty bad shape. Had my local shop fab a new set of 2.5" duals with a set of 40 series I had laying around. I opted to just do a dump setup at the muffler seeing as the tail pipes would exit right behind the rear tires. The dumps are only about a foot from where they would exit on the side. Car sounds like a drag car. Funny to sit at the gas station and get in the car and start it and watch peoples faces. That car sounds totally opposite of what you would expect it to sound like. I love it. I've set of 6 car alarms in about 2 days with it.
Give me a thumbs up, tell me "Nice Car!", but for god's sake, don't call it an Impala. |
