Thanks for the replies-
Could use glass packs, not sure if they are the correct length.
It's an interesting option though.
And I'll ask around a couple local muffler shops to see what they can do.

Easy: Waldron exhaust makes them like NOS and you can buy in 2,5 " in / out!!! for around 50$ each!!
I will order in the next days because my 65 is to laud (org 40 Flowmster) ... my neighbourhood will killing me if i use the car daily in the summer time to work at 5 am

I bought from Waldron the dual downpipes after trying PYpes and RAm perf. .. Pypes doesn`t fit and the Ram parts, too ..the Waldron are perfectly like NOS and you can choose in diameter !!

look at this pic: http://waldronexhaust.com/cart/index...oducts_id=4175

The Waldron people are very friendly and helpful!!! Shipping worldwide

Thanks-
I did just order from Waldron, they had the correct resonators.
When I receive them I will report back with regard to fitness, construction, etc.
It's four weeks out but worth the wait for the correct part

Recently received all the parts from Waldron. Very happy w/results!
Only small problem was I had to cut 1 1/2" from pass. side pipe between manifold and muffler. Exhaust looks OEM with the correct resonators in place.
