Default TJH350 kickdown / bracket on 65 Tripower manifold

I'm selling my beloved 65 Tripower to a fella that has a transplanted 400/TH350 combo in his 64 GTO.

I used this with a TH400 in my 67 for years and made that work with my 67 throttle cable with some doings..

He asked me if his throttle cable / linkage he has on the 400 now would work. I have not seen what he has nor will I. But I offered this info to him:
  • He may have to buy a 65 tripower cable due to the length of it compared to what he has now.
  • He may need a later TH350 bracket to hold the Kickdown cable in place.
  • That I wasnt sure how the kickdown cable would attach to the carb linkage.

Has anyone used a TH350 with a tripower that can provide some info I can give the guy to help him out?

Try looking at Lokar products. I've seen some tri power brackets from them.
