Default Well tonight is the night!!!

Well this is it.....after my car has sit for over 17 years, I'm finally ready to fire it up. Motor and trans are all fresh and ready to go. Gonna get it running and then time for body work, I know it sounds ass backwards but I just had to hear it run before it gets more down time with doing bodywork, probably gonna be a slow process getting it looking like new again but well worth it. Wish me luck, I'm waiting for my brother to show up then we're gonna head down to the shop to fire the old red TA. I may have to have some alone time afterwards

Hey man,Congrats! hope you get it going.I just brought my 78 T/A to life today, what a great feeling to hear the engine roar after 10 months of staring at it.
It's good to know that on this day at least 2 T/A's were reborn.

Man, I can't hardly wait to say the same thing. "Gonna fire up my car after 17 years." Of course, my T/A will be 45 years old by then. And don't even ask how old I will be.

Actually not backwards, most prefer to get the motor in and running before painting, that way you are not messing up your new paint with getting the motor in, and working on it as well, good luck, hope it fire right up.
