Default Assembly Manual 78 Firebird

Where can I get an assembly manual for a 78 Firebird ? Is there such a manual out there ?

They were generic manuals in those years, so the manual will cover f-bodies and a few others. You're looking for something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1978-...mZ370090605654 right? Get an original, I've heard of people having problems with the reproductions. The Chilton manual is also pretty good, you can get that from Amazon or usually Autozone or a similar store. I have both for my 78 T/A, and the Chilton often copies the original GM manual verbatim. Sometimes it's a little less detailed, but in general it's a good manual.

I either got mine from eBay or someone on the forums, I forget.

I don't think he's looking for the "Service" manual. He's looking for an "assembly" manual...different thing.

The only assembly manual I've seen available for the 2nd gen TA's is the 80 firebird assembly manual on CD. Of course, it isn't the same on the front and back ends as your 78, but most of the body is the same otherwise. Here's where you can buy it and other manuals on CD for your 78:
