I tried calling this member today and was not able to reach him. Was sent a few texts but never gave my number. It's pretty easy to find if you look at user history but not sure this is legit.

This sale is totaled legit. The ad and pictures show the details I have user history on this site and I'm pretty pissed that you just jumped in and throw doubt on my sale. Anyway, I have no record of receiving a call from you and if you did, you never left a voice message. If you want to discuss further then send a pm.

Fwiw..... It's possible a scammer (or the Russians) sent a phone number out there.

Clean out PM's and proceed with caution.

GLWS

Starter looks like a good deal

Ok. I received text messages from you but never gave you my number. Test wise asking for my address and the verbage was odd. California number but your in north Carolina. No answer when I call them some one word text after this. It's enough to seem odd to me. People account's on here are being hacked and other sites that appear to be the user but are not. They get scammed like that. If your pissed off I really don't care. I don't need to pm you to speak the truth.

None of that came from me. This is getting ridiculous. Moderators, please take my ad down. I'll put it on ebay.

A quick search of threads you have started shows you have posted your phone number openly in at least one of your recent classified ads.

This opens you up to easily being contacted by scammers pretending to be someone you are dealing with here in this thread.

Never post your phone number nor your personal email address on the open forums. The forum does give you the option of sharing your email but that doesn’t make it safe or smart to do so.

Never communicate your dealings with others on the open forums.

Start understanding that scammers can easily fool you when you have your information posted out in the open.

Always use private messaging to give people your email or phone number. Always use private messages to communicate when discussing business transactions, or use email and phone calls after sharing those numbers or addresses in private messages.

Let’s all take the proper steps to insure our safety and privacy here.

Accounts being hacked almost never happens, the unwise posting of email addresses and phone numbers as well as dealing right out in the open is the problem here.
