None have yet.... But the cores need to be a virgin head or at least nothing larger than the commercially available "380 cfm" port

Still, not sure if these are Marcella's heads. But his work is done all in aluminum. Best aluminum welder on planet earth and he does not like epoxy.
Anyone know how Giro's new bullet is coming along ? |

Thanks, just the one program for Hi-ports. We can always hand grind the Hi-ports they're a pretty straightforward head.

Our welder retired recently. Chris Razer would be an excellent choice to weld the head.

FWIW I've found dealing with a professional welder is a better choice. They will just make the repair and move on to the next job. Professional's will not complain about the difficulty of the job .... They'll just fix it. I remember picking up a pair of RAIV heads at a very appealing price years ago. Against my my recommendation for fixing them, the guy took the heads to a very reputable head shop. He was told "if they can't fix'm no one can". Well when the heads were deemed unrepairable I purchased them for scrap. I sent them to the guy I originally suggested and $150 later they were repaired. We raced them for several years and then sold them to a nostalgic road racer.... They're still in service today. |

Full port job for sure. I've never cut a Victor in half. I save that for dual planes. The only reason to cut a manifold in half that I know of is to gain easier access to hard to reach areas or put an aftermarket manifold on an old four cylinder.
