65 GTO 4-speed NM tri-power car in Capri gold with a reserve not met in Massachusetts. It's a sharp color.

67 Firebird convertible restomod in Florida at $60K BIN. LS engine and 17 inch wheels, it's a sharp looking car. I'm really liking the light greens from 67-69 more these days.

67 Firebird 4-speed 400 convertible in Tennessee at $53K BIN. I'm not sure if we've seen this one before. Nice car, but on the high side IMO.

I could not throw that console far enough, absolutely wrecks the slender OEM interior styling...

Along with the seats and the cheesy dash cap.

Found a FontaineBlue with White interior 3x2 4spd AC , and sold the Gold one. This one on eBay had a beige vinyl top and was originally a 4bbl car. Don't know what they have done to the front seats. The gold interior color in 65 is about exact match to Capri exterior color. With some interior improvements this would be a nice car. |

The driving video of the gold GTO is interesting. At least we know the hood safety hook works, since the hood pops open during the ride. Yikes.

He probably should reshoot that. Seems like its a good old car. And if you aren't grabbing 2nd and 3rd gear rubber a time or two did you really drive it like a GTO . We all do that every time we drive one. |

Interesting shoulder belt mod on the 67 Firebird. I did something similar on my 71 Lemans.
Too bad 3/4 of the description is the dealership jerking themselves. |

I agree that is an interesting shoulder harness mod, I might have to look into doing something like that on my 67

Jeff, I researched this quite a bit and realized a couple of things. One was almost without exception the retractor is mounted on the shoulder section on the roof of OEM's, not the lap section on the floor as on this Firebird. The male section of the buckle then is a simple open slider - it adjusts instantly and easily to all size passengers. On this Firebird you will need to readjust the friction type buckle each time another driver or if you slide the seat.
The 1978-81 F might be able to be modded to work. https://www.amesperf.com/parts/36214/ |

69 GTO convertible triple white bench seat car in Virgina at $10K reserve not met. Is it just me, or should the exhaust tips be 4" shorter?

I love that white bench seat interior. The exhaust tips are the cheesy add-on kind, goes with the 400-4 sticker. .

Too much cheese in the macaroni .
It could have presented much better for about the same money spent if they had used better judgements. |
