When I bought my 69 350HO convert I flew into St. Louis, rented a U-Haul with a full trailer (4 wheels off the ground) and towed it home. The car was completely apart, so there was a lot of boxes. He didn't have a cherry picker, but we were able to get the engine in the truck. If I had found the car wasn't worth it, I would have had to fly home, so I had an out. Also, the seller and I went to the bank and had everything notarized, so all the paperwork to get the title was solid. This was about 4 years ago and the U-Haul cost about $1000.

This is a good deal for a 69 convert. It has Edelbrock heads and most of the mechanicals done. Starting out at $8K no reserve... should hit it IMO. |

There has to be $8K in just the drivetrain. Poker aint free and those E heads and short block are not cheap. I have two 69 converts and I would love to have the quarters that this car has. The hood tach is Mickey, there's a lot of new parts that would come with it, and if I wasn't married I'd bid on it... but I'm not going to. This is a eBay thing that doesn't come up too often. One could make some money on this car.

Sold for $8K. Whoever bought that car got a screaming deal. The Edelbrock heads are worth $2K all day and there has to be at least $5K in the block. I hope it shows up here.

Another 69 convert with no reserve sitting at $7K.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Fire...US_Cars_Trucks It's a CA car but has some rust. A plane Jane 350 auto car, one could make this one any color combo they wanted. It'll probably sell for $8K and change. |

Looks like the batmobile had a 3way with a DeLorean and a 81 corvette. Then the baby was microwaved to scramble things up

For anyone out there with a 69 Firebird Sprint. With only 885 blocks built, this carburetor is very rare, but it's also in very good shape. If you had an auto car and ran this 7029261 carb, it would probably be real awesome. Currently sitting at Buy It Now for $650.

So I bought this carb. Here it is next to the original one:
I'll keep the carb body with the sprint 4-speed body and use mine which is correct for the car. |
