Default 67 gto console vs. lemans

Is the console the same in the 67 Lemans and the 67 GTO?

Will the Lemans console work with my Dual Gate shifter?

You would have to butcher it to make it work. It might be better to sell that one and get a dual gate console.

They all look the same on eBay.

Except for the plate that attaches to the shifter they all look the same.

The base is the same the top will need to be trimmed/cut out to fit the H&H shifter.
No major issue to do this.

The LeMans used a two speed auto trans and the console top had a different configuration than the GTO Hurst Dual Gate console. As stated above you could modify the Lemans console to work with the Dual Gate. Cannot go the other way however.

I have both LeMans and GTO consoles available for 67's if your in need.

Correct but be sure it isn't someones attempt to do the same thing and possibly cut too large to be covered by the plate/escutcheon.

I appreciate all the help.

I am going to buy an inexpensive console and make the modification.

I figure I can spend $200 on a console that is all there and needs paint and new wood grain application.

This will get me close and later I can upgrade to something very nice.
