I just do not understand people, I would never do anything like that with my classic car. These people who act like idiots trying to show off, I do not feel bad for them at all.

That is a shame. Some people buy their fast dream car late in life. They have no idea how to drive it. Played too many video games maybe. I had a neighbor that bought a 2000ish WS6 TA late in life. He came over saying he would dust my GTO. I said I'd spot him a car length and race him for whatever he wanted to bet. He started back peddling immediately. A couple of weeks later, he totaled it.

The driver deserves whatever he gets, and then a little more. Too bad for the car though.

Yeah, I live a block off the main cruise route and there are some idiots. I drive mine less during that week than during the year. He might have some issues making a claim on the wreck if a police report is needed. Would be kinda funny if the video made it to the insurance company.

Amazing. One video I saw a guy and his wife/girlfriend in a 60s corvette did a long burnout out of a show and ran into a porch attached to a house.

Buncha non driving mofos always show up at events like that.

I have no problems with burnouts or donuts, as long as they're done safely and away from bystanders and other vehicles. I guess this guy didn't get the memo.

Oh well. Live and learn I guess.

As said previously, burnouts, donuts, etc, if done at the right time and place, with a person that can drive, can be fine but this was on a public road with traffic and the guy clearly exceeded his capability.. He's just lucky it wasn't worse.

Pizza cutters? Personally, I like the aesthetic. But it reduces
the 2nd gen's handling prowess to that of a 1962 VW Beetle.
And not just any old Beetle, we're talking about one which
also happens to weigh *twice* as much as it should.

This is why I have almost developed a hatred for muscle cars. There's always at least one idiot that pulls crap like this and puts others in danger. Then the morons always revving their engines with obscenely loud exhaust blowing out my ears. Save this nonsense for the track.

Also, can't rule out alcohol as a factor. That could easily explain such bad judgement and driving.
