I recently had to replace my speedometer, (what a pia!)
I bought an overhauled one outright.
My old one, even though it had been overhauled too had set for about 20yrs
And the lube had become gummy from sitting, causing the needle to whip.

I have sent my old one back to be put in order and calibration.
I extend to sell it.
