Default '64 Wood Wheel Question

I've had several 64 wood wheels in the past but this one I recently picked up has an odd plastic cancel cam on it. I've not seen one with this before & thought it may be for a big car application or possibly a tilt wheel part?
i know on both of my old GTO's this was not on them.
It looks like it's pretty fragile & I'm surprised it hasn't been broken off, it's held on by 2 small phillips head screws.

Anyone recognize this part? Thanks.

Thanks Andre, it looks like that's what it is. It also looks like that cam is repo'd so no need to save it.

andre, the blue 65 A body tilt column you sold me several years ago had a chevrolet part number sticker on it but it had pontiac levers. it did not have a cancel cam like the one pictured.

Someone probably put the correct Pontiac cancel cam on it. The chevy one appears more robust and unlikely to fail as easily as the Pontiac one
