Pete Mason Auto Repair in Dover NH had a mag. Try internet search for his number. If NG, get back and I'll look it up.

Scott- in the past I've found it easy to buy a used Vertex for a Chev and have Ronco (in PA) change it to a Pontiac base. I don't know if Ronco is still there and offering such services?

Jack:

Ronco hasn't been in Blue Bell for at least 25 years that I'm aware of.

Taylor bought them.

I've thought about doing this swap, but the cost of a new base is some insane amount of money the last time I considered it.

If I recall correctly, the base alone was over $500.

I'm currently having Joe Anderson at Don Zig Magnetos build me a special Mallory Mini-Mag for my blown alky 4-cylinder. He's got a whole bunch of stuff (plus access to more). You might want to call him.

Scott, not sure exactly what you want. You wrote 'mag body' but, they are not all the same.
If you are looking for a Mallory Pontiac mag base, here is a link for you. They bought out Mallory a few years back.
Mallory used to offer a Pontiac base with a tach drive. I have one in my collection , would consider selling it. It is unused, just has some shelf wear.
Here is the link-

I just emailed FIE and Spud Miller responded that they sold their last Pontiac mag lower unit and discontinued the product, website hasn't been updated. Anyone have an extra? I just missed one on ebay last month.

But thanks for the updated information.
